Where on Earth:

HVG is centrally located in the Indianhead Acres subdivision in Tallahassee, Florida.  The program is an in-home program on 2 acres.  There are gardens, fruit trees, and wooded areas to experience and explore, as well as an inspiring indoor area.  In addition, the Indianhead Acres subdivision has extensive nature trails a short walk away for off-site adventures!

Director and Facilitator: Stephany Cecil

Stephany has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Teaching and has been a facilitator of early learning since 2004.  She lived and worked in Hawaii for 20 years where she came to deeply respect and appreciate indigenous and place-based educational approaches.  It is also where her love of the outdoors and growing her own food flourished.  She is a Play Advocate and fervently defends a child’s right to explore the world on their own terms, knowing that this is how children authentically learn about themselves.
